Over the years, numerous folk have affectionately quipped about my voice, and named the fancy for me to read them bedtime stories. Well, ask and ye shall receive!

In order to spread a little classical Christmas cheer, and because although there are many versions of the story that play at this time of year, many people have not had the chance to read the original text, I decided to record Charles Dickens' 'A Christmas Carol' and share it with anyone who would like to bring a little Yuletide magic into their holidays. 

Chapter one will be shared on 19th December, 180 years to the day after it was first published. Each day I shall add a new chapter, taking us up to Christmas Eve.
